Food Review: Charlie's Corner @ Changi Village

My friend told me about this place some time back. She said it was a really chill place and I was crazy to not know about this place. So I terribly wanted to see what this place was about.

It is really quite a cosy and simple place situated in a corner of the hawker centre at Changi Village. They serve quite a number of main courses and finger food and they also serve MANY different types of beers and beverages. Prices, at least to me, are extremely high! The food is really expensive, considering the location.

I ordered Coleslaw and Calamari. Calamari was fine, but the serving was small. Coleslaw was just okay. Nothing to rave about.

So if you are looking for exotic beers to try out, or just a place to sit and chill and relax, please carry on. :)

Food Review: Nakhon Thai @ Kovan

Recently, I went to Nakhon Thai with my girlfriend. She has been there with her friends and wanted me to try as well. It is quite a cosy place. We were lucky there wasn't a queue when we reached but while we were waiting for the food, a queue of about 20 people had formed. There were really many people waiting patiently in line.

One reason why my girlfriend wanted me to come here for is the Red Ruby. She knows I love Red Ruby and she wanted me to try theirs. We ordered quite a number of dishes. Fried Tung Hoon, Fried Rice, Tom Yum Seafood Soup, Fried Lemon Chicken and Thai Iced Tea.

The food arrived very quickly. All in all, the food tasted good. It was affordable. And I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The staff were friendly and fast in service. The place was relatively clean as well. So if you are craving for Thai food, why not try Nakhon Thai. Just go early to beat the crowd. Here are some photos. Red Ruby is not in because it went into our stomachs before photos could be taken. Sorry!
